By the end of this month, a workshop will be held in Cambridge bringing together the three Antarctic research programs along the Western Antarctic Peninsula.
The workshop is organized by Michael Meredith (British Antarctic Survey), Hugh Ducklow (Palmer Station Long Term Ecological Research) and Doris Abele (Alfred Wegener Institute for Polar and Marine Research). While Palmer LTER is focused on oceanographic processes, IMCOAST research concentrates on coastal systems. The aim of this workshop is to enhance collaboration of the three research programs and combine existing long term data sets.
