12/03/2012 - Renaming of Jubany Station
On March 5th 2012, the Argentine President Cristina de Kirchner announced the renaming of Jubany Station to Scientific Base Dr Alejandro Carlini by the official Decree 309/ 03.05.2012.
Dr. Alejandro Carlini, who died in December 2010, performed his antarctic research for more than 20 years with responsibility, enthusiasm and always with joy and optimism.
